HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Booking an Appointment

Most examinations and procedures, such as CT scans and ultrasounds, require an appointment which can be made over the phone with any of our clinics. Generally, plain X-ray examinations, such as chest X-rays, do not require an appointment; however, several specialised scans may. If you are unsure, please contact one of our clinics. We understand that some patients may feel anxious prior to their procedure, and therefore, we aim to schedule your appointment as promptly as possible.

Pre-examination instructions will be provided by our receptionists when you book your appointment. What You Need to Bring to Your Appointment:

  • Request/Referral from your doctor or referring This is a medicolegal requirement and necessary to ensure that the Medicare rebate is paid.
  • Any previous reports or images that relate to the scan/procedure you are having on
  • Medicare card: This enables us to process your Medicare rebate
  • Concession cards: Health Care and Pension cards or DVA (Department of Veteran’s Affairs) cards.
  • Work Cover details: This must include the company your employer uses and your claim number.

Please note that Radiology Queensland Group accepts all referrals.

ARRIVAL

Please arrive at the clinic 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out the necessary forms and complete the registration process. Ensure you bring your referral and any relevant previous imaging/reports.

PAYMENT/BILLING POLICY

Radiology Queensland Group offers bulk billing on most Medicare-eligible services.
